My fourth flower essence adventure was in 2008 to Honduras. My bank manager’s cousin, Onán, lived in Honduras, and he offered to be my guide for the trip. I was warned about dangers to Americans in Tegucigalpa where I was based. Onán was a student of botany at a university in the city and turned out to have an uncanny knack of finding orchids. We spent a few days foraging around the area of Lake Yojoa in central Honduras.
The most unusual orchid we found was a small white flower called Notiliya. Taking this flower essence near and during the full moon opens the psyche to a communication with a nameless feminine deity. The night I made the essence under the full moon, she came only in a voice but clearly said my name and gave me a message. Many others have had dreamtime visitations when taking the essence. Those who are doing dreamwork or who remember their dreams have the clearest experiences.
